Dr. Odom is active in a variety of professional endeavors.  He is the 2008 President of the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists.  

He is a Delegate to the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) from the GSA and is the current Chair of the GSA Anesthesia Care Team Committee.

Education continues to be a priority through national involvement as a member of the ASA Committee on Anesthesiologist Assistant Education & Practice.
